current obsessions {volume 6}

first of all, are all my birmingham people doing well?! we've had another round of storms sweep through, spawning tornadoes and some nasty weather. fortunately, the birmingham area itself seems to have received minimal damage, and all is well on my end. having these storms arrive around the april 27th, 2011 anniversary was no fun, and i know it caused everyone a lot more heartache than necessary. last night was supposed to be round 2, but we just got a little rain! thank goodness that's over.

here's what i've been loving lately!

01. bracelets from ann taylor + stella & dot - my mother was sweet enough to give me these as a sort of easter present. she knows my tastes - hey, because it's pretty much her taste. these are all i've been wearing lately.

02. birmingham print by evelyn henson - is this not the most adorable thing?! i had to have it! i'd like to put it in a bigger frame & mat it but this will do for now. it looks so cute in my bedroom.

03. railroad park - i spent 3 afternoons after work here last week, plus a saturday evening picnic. the weather is just perfect. laying out here on a blanket is my new favorite thing. plus, after the sun sets, you can walk over to the 18th street light rails.

what are your current obsessions?

current obsessions {volume 5}

01. my sugar paper 2014 planner. i haven't kept a planner for a year or two, but i'm excited to get back in the swing of it with this one. i love my moleskins, but this was too cute to pass up. checking off my little checkmarks i create is so satisfying. these are still at target i believe, so go check them out!

 02. gigi new york clutch - i can't stop staring at this thing. my mother got this for me for christmas (monogrammed, of course) and it is so beautiful in person that i can't even deal. it's large enough to hold a regular sized wallet, but chic enough for night time. totally. obsesssed.

03. yoga studio app - would it be too cheesy if i said this has totally changed my life? the classes offered on this app are simple to follow. i can pick beginner, intermediate and advanced classes that last 15, 30 or 60 minutes. recently i've even come home to do the 15 minute classes on my lunch break!

current obsessions {volume 4}

 01. revlon lip butters - i just picked up 'red velvet' & 'sweet tart'. these colors are fantastic! so moisturizing & pigmented. i've used revlon lip butters in the past, but now that i'm trying to get back into lip color, i've fallen in love with these again because they're so effortless.

 02. j. crew factory crystal feather necklace - this necklace is perfect, goes with everything, and adds just a hint of glam. love! i got it on sale, too, and i've worn it a ton already.

03. anthropologie monogram mug in gold - isn't everyone in love with these? when i saw it online i had to have it. gold + monogram = perfection. and it's' only $10!

current obsessions {volume 3}

01. j. crew sweaters - i mean, who doesn't love a j. crew sweater? especially if they're j. crew factory & on sale! these have 3/4 length sleeves and are perfect for layering or wearing alone.

 02. black quilted puffer vest from old navy - for $30, this was a steal. i've been wearing it on top of my j. crew sweaters & long sleeve shirts. i love the gold hardware.

03. bath & body works pumpkin pecan waffles candle- smells like heaven, truly. this is all i've been burning for the month of october.

current obsessions {volume 2}

01. my new tory burch reva flats! i have lusted after these shoes for a while now, and got them as an early birthday present. they go with everything and are perfect for the office.

 02. my new monogrammed notebook from letterlovedesign. i love looking at it on my desk!

03. this sweater from loft. its my absolute favorite at the moment and i can't wait to wear it when it gets a little chillier! the jeweled peter pan collar + the fit truly make it. its very flattering.

what are your obsessions this month?

current obsessions {volume 1}

01. these trendy sunglasses from amazon. i got both black & tortoise shell and have been loving them - they go with everything! and for the price, they're sturdier than you'd think. i'm not a fan of expensive sunglasses; i always break or lose them at some point, so stocking up on cheap pairs is the way to go.

02. pointed heels! i used to hate these, and now i can't get enough. i want a pair in every color! these heels are from gojane & are a great price. i'm also lusting after the j. crew factory emery flats - too perfect for work and great for fall.

03. this handy reusable cup from starbucks - only $1! total lifesaver. most stores have been carrying these lately and i didn't pick one up until last week because i thought they might not be too durable. turns out these will do just fine instead of a $20 ceramic mug.
